Our Curriculum…
We follow a syllabus in each class so that each child learns at their own
pace and level. We push students to work hard and place students by
technique and skill over age.
The emphasis for our preschool program is FUN! Focus is placed on early developmental skills: self-confidence, development of fine motor skills, taking turns, listening, movement, discovery and coordination. Creative dance and primary ballet is taught introducing basic dance movement through the use of balls, hoops, scarves and tumbling. New this year: Rhythms Sticks!
Kinder-Kats™ Ballet / Tap Combination
Students begin to learn the basic steps of ballet and tap. The enjoyment of movement, rhythm and creative dance is stressed at the 5-6 year old levels. Barre, center floor, across the floor combinations, and precision work are introduced at this level. Proper body alignment, musicality and technique are stressed.
